There is a very rare extended and slightly longer opening to the Garthok arena fight, with the lady coneheads behind the Highmaster opening the ceremony with a song. Which seems to have or do something with the Garthok. This is why Bel dar supposedly starts singing out of nowhere.

After killing the Garthok, I see that next to the Highmaster there appears to be a large severed head. I wonder if Beldar did to it what it did to the former gladiators: Presented the head to the highmaster.

I didn't like this movie as a kid. I thought it was weird, and confusing, and the characters and plot were scary. I don't like it as an adult. I love it. Beldar's rendition of "Tainted Love" has lived in my head, rent free, for over 20 years and I'll probably take it to my grave

Beldar singing Tainted Love is one of the most underrated moments in an SNL movie. Anytime I hear that song, I think about this movie
